Sensomotorinen valmennus on lempeää, keholähtöistä työskentelyä, joka tukee kehon ja hermoston tasapainoa. Valmennuksessa huomioidaan kehon ja hermoston luonnollinen kehitys sekä primitiivirefleksit, jotka ovat osa varhaista kasvua, oppimista ja kehon toimintaa. Tapaamisessa edetään rauhallisesti ja yksilöllisesti asiakkaan omaa rytmiä kunnioittaen. Valmennuksessa voidaan käyttää esimerkiksi lempeitä keho- ja liikeharjoituksia, hengityksen ja hermoston säätelyn harjoituksia, refleksityöskentelyä, kehotietoisuutta sekä keskustelua. Sensomotorinen valmennus voi sopia esimerkiksi tilanteisiin, joissa kaipaat tukea palautumiseen, stressin säätelyyn, kehon kuunteluun, keskittymiseen, kehonhallintaan tai kokonaisvaltaiseen hyvinvointiin.
