Kilpisjärvellä on tilastollisesti Suomen suurin todennäköisyys nähdä revontulia, ja pilvettöminä öinä revontulet liekehtivät taivaalla usein. Revontulijahtiin lähdetään minibussilla pohjoisen tai etelän suuntaan pilvi- ja revontuliennusteiden perusteella. Retken aikana pysähdytään hyvillä kuvauspaikoilla, nautitaan lämmintä mehua ja leivonnainen sekä ihaillaan yötaivasta. Oppaan ottamista kuvista saa linkin retken jälkeen.

Retki toteutetaan minibussilla. Reitti valitaan pilvi- ja revontuliennusteiden perusteella joko pohjoisen tai etelän suuntaan. Tarjolla on valinnainen kuljetuspalvelu majoituksesta viiden kilometrin säteellä Kilpissafareilta. Kuljetuspalvelun lisähinta on 5 € / henkilö ja sisältää meno-paluun.
