Meloja 1 -kurssilla opitaan melonnan perustekniikkaa ja syvennetään taitoja Helsingin merellisessä ympäristössä. Kurssi sopii sinulle, joka haluat oppia melomaan varmemmin, turvallisemmin ja monipuolisemmin. Kurssilla harjoitellaan muun muassa melontatekniikkaa, turvallisuutta, suunnistamista sekä reskutusta, eli kajakilla kaatumista ja takaisin kajakkiin nousemista. Kurssin päätteeksi reskutus tulee suorittaa hyväksytysti, jotta osallistuja voi saada Meloja 1 -todistuksen.

Clothing
Pukeudu säänmukaisesti ja vesillä liikkumiseen sopivasti. Vaatteiden kannattaa olla sellaiset, jotka voivat kastua.
Participants
Kurssi sopii osallistujille, jotka haluavat kehittää melontataitojaan ja oppia liikkumaan vesillä turvallisemmin. Aikaisempi melontakokemus ei ole välttämätön, mutta osallistujan tulee olla uimataitoinen.
