Retki ei vaadi aikaisempaa kokemusta lumikenkäilystä eikä erityisen kovaa fyysistä kuntoa. Ohjelma sopii hyvin esimerkiksi yrityksille, ryhmille, ystäväporukoille ja virkistyspäiviin. Retki voidaan toteuttaa myös illalla tunnelmallisesti otsalamppujen tai kuun valossa.
